In Alberobello, in the very central Piazza del Popolo, few meters away from the “Monti” and “Aia Piccola” monumental areas (World Heritage Sites), there is a place to be discovered. The living stone of this ancient structure has a long history of hospitality, giving light and freshness to guests who want to experience a real taste after awakening.
Starting from the entrance we note that the color chosen for the exterior conjures the nuances of an ancient history. In fact, over the centuries, the trulli doors were painted and repainted with different colors; the atmospheric events took their course creating shades of color that today are reproduced with care through a new technique: a transparent base, a coat of white, gray and a treatment of walnut-color by a special cloth recall the marks that time has left on the trulli doors.
Once inside, the journey goes on. Staring up to the vault is enough to be lost among the olive branches that surmount the room, witnesses of a fertile past, trying to count the 900 handmade copper leaves one by one. The olive tree is the symbol to be found also in the “Così com'era” logo, and represents the authentic taste of the territory with which we want to delight you, starting from the large breakfast buffet.
In this ancient setting, the scent and fragrance of our biscuits win over everyone: from tourists who like to start the day with energy to Alberobello inhabitants whose heart is marked by traditional recipes.
